Signed Indie Romance Books: Where to Buy Signed Copies of My Romance Novels
I’m so excited to finally be offering signed copies of my contemporary romance books for purchase!
When The Half of It came out in 2025, I was new to so much—new to being an author, new to running an author business, and new to living in Germany. Every time I looked into selling signed books, it felt overwhelmingly complicated. Setting up a shop, figuring out international shipping, sourcing packaging supplies…it all seemed like a lot.
Offering signed copies has been sitting on my to-do list for such a long time, but I just never managed to prioritize it while juggling everything else.
Luckily, I’ve finally found a few ways to make it happen.
Where you can purchase signed books from me will depend a little on where you’re located, but I’m genuinely so happy to finally be able to offer this.
Where Can You Buy Signed Copies of The Half of It and my latest release, In a Desert Daze?
If you’re in the US, then you can order a signed copy of The Half of It and/or In a Desert Daze for a limited time. I’ll be doing an in-store signing at Cupid’s Bookshop on May 31, 2026, and the bookstore is currently offering signed preorder options. You can either choose in-store pickup if you’re local to Philly or have your books shipped directly to you.
Because I’ll only be signing books in-store on that date, you’ll want to place your order before May 20, 2026. Go here to place your order with Cupid’s Bookshop!
I’m hopeful that in the future I’ll be able to offer signed copies to U.S. readers on a more permanent basis, but for now, this is the best setup I can manage—and I’m very excited about it.
If you’re located in Western or Central Europe, specifically in countries where the Vinted app is available, you can also purchase books directly from me there. I’m honestly thrilled about this option because it makes shipping within Europe much more manageable for me. Purchase my books on Vinted here!
Why Buy Books Directly From an Author?
When you purchase books directly from a self-published author, you’re getting something a little more personal than a standard online order.
Along with the signed book itself, I include goodies like bookmarks, stickers, and art cards. Every package is packed with a lot of care, and honestly, sending them out feels incredibly special to me.
I also sometimes get asked by friends and family what the “best” way is to support an author. Usually what they mean is: what actually helps the most?
Financially, buying directly from an author is usually one of the most supportive things you can do. Without a middleman, more of the money goes directly toward the author after printing and supply costs are covered. For indie authors especially, that support genuinely makes a huge difference.
That said, the single most helpful thing you can do for any author is leave a review.
Reviews on Goodreads and Amazon help other readers discover books, decide whether a story is right for them, and ultimately help books continue finding new audiences. I know many of us have complicated feelings about Amazon (and in turn Goodreads, which is owned by the Zon), but reader reviews there really do matter in the publishing world.
So whether you buy directly from me, request my books from your local library, recommend them to a friend, or leave a review after reading—you are helping more than you probably realize.
Hot Tip: How to Get Signed Romance Books by Indie Authors
As an indie author, it is genuinely so surreal and exciting to know that readers want signed copies of my books. And as a romance reader myself, I completely understand the joy of collecting signed romance novels from authors you love. There’s something really special about having an author-signed paperback on your shelf that feels a little more personal and memorable.
If you’re looking for signed indie romance books, the best place to start is usually the author’s website. Many authors will list signed paperbacks, special editions, preorder campaigns, or upcoming signing events there first. If you don’t see anything available on their website, checking their social media pages can also be helpful since many authors announce signed stock, limited editions, or bookstore events there.
And honestly, in the case of indie authors like me, it is completely okay to reach out and ask if signed copies are available. A lot of indie authors are balancing writing, business logistics, day jobs, family responsibilities, and shipping all at once, so sometimes signed books take a little while to become possible. I’ve been a published author for over a year, and I’m only just now getting to a place where I can realistically offer signed copies myself.
Even if an author isn’t currently offering signed special edition romance books or signed paperbacks, hearing that readers are interested is incredibly encouraging. Knowing there’s demand for signed books helps authors decide what makes sense to prioritize in the future, especially in the indie publishing world where so much is handled personally behind the scenes.
FAQ
Where can I buy signed copies of your romance books?
If you’re in the US, you can order signed copies before May 20th, 2026 from the romance bookstore Cupid’s Bookshop. If you’re in Western or Central Europe (or any location where you can use the Vinted app and order from Germany), then you can find me on Vinted and buy my indie romance books there.
Do you ship signed books internationally?
Currently signed books are available for certain locations. Cupid’s Bookshop only ships nationwide (US). I’m selling my indie romance books on Vinted from Germany, so if your Vinted account is able to purchase from there, then I can ship to you! I hope to offer more shipping options and destinations in the future.
What comes with a signed copy?
Signed copies purchased through Vinted include a bookmark, a trope sticker, and either an exclusive Spicy/Sweet notecard (The Half of It) or exclusive spicy art (In a Desert Daze). I’ll also be including these goodies with Cupid's Bookshop orders while supplies last!
Can I request personalization?
Yes, of course! Cupid’s Bookshop offers an area to write in what personalization you would like. If you would like personalization from a book purchased on Vinted, just message me when you place the order.
Are signed copies limited edition?
No, these are standard paperback editions signed by me personally. Depending on availability, signed copies may only be offered during certain time periods or events, but the books themselves are not special edition printings.
Will you offer signed books again in the future?
Yes, although I can’t yet say when. As my author business grows, I hope to expand and offer signed copies on an ongoing basis. The best way to find out about this info is to sign up for regular updates from my newsletter (you get a free copy of Match Made in the Maldives when you sign up!).
Are signed copies more expensive?
Signed romance books are usually priced similarly to regular paperbacks, though shipping costs can sometimes be higher depending on your location. For indie authors especially, signed copies often involve additional packaging materials, postage, and handling done personally by the author. I also love including small extras like bookmarks and stickers with signed book orders.
