Books I Read in March 2026

March was a big month for audiobooks for me. Between illness and working on edits for my upcoming book, it’s hard for me sometimes to want to pick up a book (or my Kindle) and have my eyes focus on something. Here are a few of the books I read in March that I loved and want to recommend!

The Villa by Rachel Hawkins

Sometimes I’m just in the mood for a women-led thriller, and Rachel Hawkins delivers. The Villa has an interesting dual timeline story and a spectacular—if a little spooky—setting in Italy. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Two Can Play by Ali Hazelwood

One of my favorite tropes is when the FMC has no clue that the MMC has been obsessed with her for years, and Ali Hazelwood does it well. I really liked the video game premise with this one. It’s a novella, so it was perfect for a quick read that had humor, heart, and heat.

Luck and Last Resorts by Sarah Grunder Ruiz

I’ve had this book on my list for a while, because the MMC is Irish (shoutout to books with Irish book boyfriends!). I adored this book from start to finish, and it has all the makings of a five-star read for me. Flawed characters, an emotionally constipated FMC, a man with an accent, some travel-y vibes, and even a few surprises along the way.
