Books I Read in July 2025

Eek! I’m a couple weeks late with this one. Blame it on illness, finishing edits & life in general. 😌 But the good news is, I’m ready to share with you the books I read in July and what I thought of them.

Love and Other Conspiracies by Mallory Marlowe

I devoured this book in less than twenty-four hours. It was funny, it was sweet, it was unexpected—I loved it! A 5-Star read for me and definitely my favorite book that I read this month.

The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy by Jenny Han

I saw some Team Conrad videos on TikTok and got sucked in. I am always down for an MMC who pines and yearns to the max, so needless to say, I was intrigued! It’s got love triangles, angst, and imperfect characters just doing their best, and honestly it’s the perfect summer read.

What if I Never Get Over You by Paige Toon

Two characters meet while interrailing, fail to reconnect despite their plans to, and then don’t run into each other again until years later…and of COURSE there are lingering feelings. Something that really impressed me in this book was how the characters really did seem like different people between the time jumps—so while it started with some new adult vibes, we really get to follow these characters later into their lives.
